Burpee Flower Catalog
The Burpee Flower Catalog is one of the most popular, if not the most popular gardening catalog found anywhere. It dates back to 1876 when a young man who loved gardening took a loan of $1000 from his mother to begin his company. By the year 1915, the Burpee company had reached a catalog distribution of one million. Many of the older catalogs are now collectible items because of their age and beautiful artwork. The gardeners of the U.S. recognized the great products and customer service offered by Burpee, which is why to this day it remains a very popular catalog.
